There are manufacturers in China on www.alibaba.com The way it works is you send them a drawing, they will imput it into a CAD program then create the molds. Initial set up for that is about $2500USD. Then they charge roughly about $1 for each blank produced. They can give you the blanks or print your color patterns on there. They are quick to reply to you.

I used to buy Spro eyes online but found that I can take any regular eye, use an exacto knife and cut it in half and the eyes fit PERFECTLY on Spro bodies. The first picture was a Spro deep diving NOT a 2.5 deep diver. Here is a site where you can get the deep diving Spro lure body. The website shows it painted but you have to email them and ask how much per piece if you get it unpainted http://www.odafishing.com I used to buy my lure blanks online here in the states but now I need large quanties. It took some searching but you can find a lot of the chinese manufacturers (legit ones) on Alibaba.com I just ordered 500 lure blanks (3 different models. Takes 20 days to complete the molding process and then 2-3 weeks for shipping. Its where the these guys in the US are getting their blanks. Wait til you see the prices! Lure blanks I was paying $1.75-$2 for are actually about .98c/ each and they are the SAME ones! Capt Tom, I recently got a GoPro camera and recorded a video on me painting a Baby Bass pattern which is on YouTube I hope this helps. I believe I mention what paint colors were used. I also have done a Walleye color pattern that has been extremely successful with Northern Pike. To achieve this (it actually happened by accident), I started with a white base coat, then black on the top half of the bait (this will be for the scale outlines). I dress the lure with a scale mask (a scrubbing lufa). I spray a coat of gold. Then I reduced some Olive green paint. Reducing will allow some transparency to take place so the gold blends with the olive green. The stripes and back are a Drab green (I mixed ComArts Chrome Green with black). I then use smoke color (this is transparent as well) along the back and around the eyes. Transparent smoke darkens the colors and adds great depth to it. I added a white belly then clear coat. I hope this helps!!
