Hi all,
I have started working on a soft plastic swim bait and was wondering if anyone had ever used tungsten powder in their soft plastic injections.
Right now my lure tends to have neutral buoyancy, but no casting weight considering the wind resistance profile. I wanted to add some weight , and have been trying internal worm weights and most have negative effects on the swim action or balance ...
So has anyone tried tungsten powder? I would assume you mix it in the hot plastic prior to injection . Does it distribute evenly, do it cause clogs ? Does it change cause the plastic to asorb more heat and thus require longer heating to get the proper viscosity ? .. I assume it colors the plastic (I paint mine anyway)
Anyone ?
