  1. Well I’ve been in touch with a man in China who makes blanks, I am looking to get my own design made and have an X amount of blanks sent to me to paint. We’ve been talking for weeks but Im not able to tell if these blanks will be quality enough to mass produce and sell. I have some LC KO blanks that are great quality and some that are absolute garbage. I don’t want to invest $k’s of dollars and my blanks come back blemished, leak, don’t swim right, or cheaply put together and a cheap plastic. He actually produces some blanks for some of the big name blank suppliers. The problem is that are thoose blanks the same quality as say a strike king, or the real deal Lucky Craft blanks? If anyone has a contact that turns custom designs into a product please let me know. I would like to know where the big companies have there blanks made and possibly look at trying to go through their manufacturers? Thanks guys
  2. Okay that’s what I figured it was
  3. Does anyone know what paint people are using that look like very very fine powdery pearlescent pigment, such as the pearl powder you use for making soft plastics, particularly i see this paint in blue, red, and green only really. I’m not talking about the pearlescent paint that createx makes but it’s almost like it’s way finer than that and sprays on very transparent, thanks!
  4. well damn i was going to try and go through delta lab but i guess they are out of business. any idea on an alternative that dries harder and thinner than kbs that i can dip?
  5. Does anyone know what topcoats some of the big guys such as strike king/6th sense/ Lucky Craft use for their top coat, seems to be more durable and thinner than my KBS
  6. Guys I’m look omg for some information on how I would be able to/where to get a custom Crankbait mold made and have blanks made from it, from design of the bait all the way to the blank, can someone lead me in the right direction. Also what type of costs am I looking at from start to finish?
  7. Has anyone tried any of this stuff? You can get 5 gallons shipped for $132. Mainly looking at the crawfish formula. Any thoughts or opinions.
  8. I know what it looks like I just want to know if anyone has an exact recipe
  9. Anyone here know a good recipe that is exact or close to zooms South Africa special color?
  10. Anyone have any idea what the custom order options are on Baitjunkys.com it looks like they just have random names but no pictures or description.
  11. I’m not sure what causes this, I did not add any softener or gardener or scent and I always mixed the plastic thoroughly,
  12. Well I recently gave up injecting and pouring soft plastics about 3 years ago, I am just now starting to get back into it and I went through a few bags of baits that have been sitting in my room for atleast 2 years. All the bags that I went through were extremely oily and put off a chemical odor, I only used “do-it” plastisol and “baitjunkys”, while baits junky’s being the considerably better plastic to work with IMO as far as clearness, bubbles, yellowing, and the quality of the plastic overall, both brands still put off an incredibly annoying odor, I’ve noticed that no old packs of the “big name” brand baits put off this similar odor nor do they become oily.
  13. So how long did it take you to receive it? And will I also have to go to the P.O. to pick it up?
  14. Who is cutting the molds? If you don’t mind me asking hpssports
  15. I haven’t been replied to after sending an email 2 days ago, I pray it doesn’t take too long to get my mold if I even do, not bashing
  16. I’ve emailed them about sending a tracking number if possible and never got any reply back we will see.
  17. Well I guess I’ll just have to sit back and wait anxiously. Hasn’t anyone else noticed there molds look awefully similar(;to some very popular baits
  18. So I recently purchas d a mold from bait mold.com yesterday at $128 total, there website said they are from the Ukraine, but my credit card payment was to the Netherlands. I have received an email saying my order has been submitted but has not been shipped. Has anyone here ordered from there and if so how is the customer service and are they a trustworthy company and are there products what they say they are.
  19. Baitjunkys, not sure if this is the brand baitjunkys but I just ordered some medium and a few other things from you guys last night, anyways I ended up going with the do it molds essential series. I’m just praying I don’t have to use a half a bottle of blackto just get the color right, I’m using a mold with thin appendages and sometimes the black ends up looking like smoke when some parts of the mold are too thin.
  20. Does anyone know what happened to all the do it molds x2 colorant? I used to pour baits about 2 years ago and now getting back into it and was looking at purchasing colors and I remembers th x2 was the best but they don’t have all the colors especially the colors I need. Does anyone know what happened or suggest a company that makes really strong colorant, ps. Looking for black, watermelon, blue, green pumpkin, I’m trying to order from all the same place to save money on shipping , thanks
  21. i ordered a lot from china and they are not the quality you will get from (dakota lakes) or (osscustoms) these have qeight transfer systems and a slightly different design. I would bo with the ones from the reputable suppliers. The shipping is also much faster!
  22. Lately I have been using do its plastic and am very unpleased with the quality of the plastic. I have been battling micro bubbles and foam with do its plastisol. I would heat the plastic with no signs of burning. It would stir it and let it sit on the counter top for a bout a minute and watch it burn without initial heating or reheating. The plastic would also dry way too fast which meant i had to reheat it many time which caused discoloration of the plastic which ultimately lead to money wasted. I purchased 2 gallons of Medium Plastisol and was very very pleased at the outcome. Not a single bubble and clear as can be let it sit on the counter and no burning of the plastic whatsoever. The plastic dried ina reasonable time which led to less reheats and no dicoloration. It also doesnt have a funky smell like do its. The date that the plastic was made and comes right on the jug of plastisol. it was made 5 days before it arrived in my hands so I know im getting fresh and quality products from baitjunkys. Guys I waould seriously suggest baitjunkys for your go to plastic.
  23. Im looking for a Twinjector if anybody has one to sell or knows who makes them. I know of Basstackles but its a little pricey. Does anyone know of a cheaper one?
