any of you guys use wire for weedguards? i was wondering what size wire you guys prefer......i use .022 105 lb. test Stainless Steel but it is a lil stiff.....

have any of you painter tried Tower Hobbies 30 Minute Epoxy ? In the past i have always used Devcon 2 Ton 30 minute .......i was thinking about getting the old airbrush fired up again and seen that Tower Hobbies offers a Clear 30 minute Epoxy.... thanks for any response Richard

these are 3/8oz Football Jigs.....they say its best on larger Jigs.......

yes...i follow you....i will get some RTV silicone and give it a try......cuz it can sure be a headache having to get the lead out from the hook eyes.....my wife whines a lil..... when she has to clean the eyes.....lol i will scrape it first and see what happens.....it doesnt happen on every pour...just 50% + it happens

its fairly new cadman....maybe poured 50 jigs...from 1oz to 1/2 oz......no....i havent modified the hook

guy......i have a probled with lead creeping into the hook eyes when i pour a jig.....i use 28 degree Mustad 91768 Ultra Point Wide Gap Jig Hooks.......i hope i explained so you can understand.......if not...i can tk a photo.......

yes they fall out in the Arky Mold.....but i have tried not bending them in my Poison Tail 1/8 oz....havent had a blow out issue with the Poison Tail 1/8 oz......

guys i am trying to pour 1/8 oz Arky Jigs using wire as my weed guard.....i used JB Weld to fill the mold in order to use the wire.......my problem is.... after bending the wire on the end so as the wire wont come out.....when i put the wire in the mold....the wire turns 90 degrees to the other side and causes a blow out with the wire sticking out the side or leaving a hole.......any idea what i need ? thanks guys Richard

great lures in their day......i have caught many walley and LM Bass on the Hellbenders and i think the bottom is a Mud Bug type lure? great work also....
