  1. I use Solarez Thin-Hard 2 oz for Streamer flies which could be used over lures too. I would not recommend thick as it is way too thick. Thin-Hard is the same viscosity as 30 wt. motor , easy to apply, it is self leveling so I rotate the fly by hand when applying UV . I then set the streamers outside in the sun to remove tackiness. The final finish is Crystal clear, very hard and not tacky. Tip: If you buy it in a bottle I recommend getting a syringe cap-applicator. When ordering It is listed at the bottom of the page. http://solarez.com/products/syringe-cap-applicator/
  2. Must Glenn and Apdriver, the manual clamps and handles are made by Destaco. Hope this helps. http://www.destaco.com/catalog-home.html
  3. I could use that guy practice around my house too!
  4. Yep guides they use are Kigan, Rec Recoil and Fuji. Just saying, if it was my choice it would half to be Fuji Torzite.

I have to admit the music did it for me. Nice work, is it thru wire construction?
  9. Fuji TORZITE According to Fuji: The New Fuji TORZITE is the best ring we have ever created. http://www.fujitackle.eu/fuji_torzite
  10. The Parker jig get's it done again!
  11. It's sweet when things work out as well as you hope for. The icing on the cake will be the first fish you catch on it!
  12. Good for you. When you are done adding the eyes be sure to post your work in the Gallery.
  13. See listed. http://www.kistlerrods.com/store/fishing-rods/helium-3-fishing-rods/helium-3-build-your-own/he3-build-your-own-rod.html#.WVggVXopBJ8
  14. Wow with that many Walleye jigs I bet they look ding dang good! I guess you could say that you're "Gettin Jiggy Wit it"
  15. Try Spike-It Plastic Worm and Chunk Paint for painting eyes on your soft plastic lures. They have several colors. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Spike-It-Plastic-Worm-and-Chunk-Paint-P1781.aspx
  16. How silly of me. I should have at least got Chart right. If it ain't Chartreuse it ain't no use!
  17. Beautiful work. Is this done with a hand pour mold, and allowing the yellow to cool a little before pouring the olive?
  18. Going on 500 lips I would say you have this down to a science. As well as learning about rice oil and temp, I also learned a new lip shape... convex. Pete thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge. And Dave thanks for finding the tutorial. Harry
  19. Thanks for posting the tutorial Dave. Hazmail nailed it. I noticed in the tutorial that the Lexan will bubble if the temp is too high. Do you recall what oil type was used, and the temp?
  20. Check Video, Larry shows how easy it is to bend Polycarbonate ( lexan ) lips after heating with a heat gun. I imagine a cupped or concave lip could be made by heating and forming the lip over a wooden or metal dowel. Note: Be safe and use adequate gloves. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=cupping+lexan+lure+lips&view=detail&mid=0F367E3DEC09D13128E60F367E3DEC09D13128E6&FORM=VIRE
  21. Yes Apdriver is correct. Someone here will come to the rescue and you will no longer be depressed. Welcome to TU.
  22. Once you have your wax master it should be easy to do aesthetic tweaks to it, including blending the seam.
