  1. I dunno what kinda simple arithmetic you're using but that's not $.20 per bait. Maybe $.20 per bass but getting 4 fish out of one bait is rare for me. 2 is average unless it's a trailer then I might get 4. It also depends a lot on the particular bait and rigging but 2 per bait is about average for me.
  2. Well all I know is I wouldn't give Del a wood nickel....I'll just leave it at that.
  3. Upon further inspection of the picture it's not hand pour...whoops!
  4. I don't think there is a hobby mold for that particular bait. BTS Swim Ripper would be the closest but the tail isn't as thin.
  5. Would make the perfect "flipping" tube.
  6. I just recently got my first batch of their plastisol (degassed) after hearing good things on here and couldn't be more impressed. It is literally night and day when compared to Do-It. No more bubbles, workable at MUCH lower temps and did I mention no bubbles!?!? Thanks for a great product and quick delivery...amd the Tootsie pops!
  7. I haven't had that problem Mark and almost all my baits just go in zip lock snack bags or sandwich bags from the grocery store....and I don't think you can get any cheaper than that! They just take up SOOO much less room in the tackle bag and I refuse to carry two or three suit cases with me when I'm fishing haha!
  8. I have been using the HDA from Do-It and I LOVE the quality of the baits it produces but its pretty dang expensive. Have tried salt recently and will defintbe trying the beads at some point. Have you used the HDA before? Just wondering what the durability is compared to the HDA, that's my favorite part about that stuff is I can get up to 5-6 fish per bait even wacky rigged with no o-ring.
  9. Is this similar to what you use Monte?? http://m.harborfreight.com/50-lbs-glass-bead-80-grit-abrasive-media-61874.html?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided
  10. I've watched enough of you videos that I was gonna answer that question for ya but I figured I'd let the master give his own reply! If y'all haven't watched Frank's videos you are missing out, they are great!
  11. I personally have never experienced a real problem getting the plastic out of the cups. It just peels right out of the cup. Whenever I have some little piddly bits left in the cup a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol on it gets the cup spotless in just a couple swipes.
  12. Mark and Frank, are you guys just putting it in there hitting 8mins/3mins and letting just cook the whole time or doing it in intervals? I know Frank said he doesn't stir, do you Mark?
  13. It can prompt a question and an answer.
  14. I just bought a hand pour senko mold and it is certainly a learning process for sure! However, mine is an 8" which requires you to keep a steady hand/pour for MUCH longer than you would with a 4" or 5". Those would be much easier IMO.
  15. Are pictures "not allowed" or are they only allowed to provide information or aid in a discussion? Because I personally feel like all the pictures showed the effectiveness of the beads across differing colors. And how about this, if the original poster is going to be reprimanded publicly and get their thread deleted why does the tattle tale get act in anonymity? I mean we already lost a great member because of "interpretation" of these rules. Things need to be black and white when it comes to rules so that nobody's opinion/feelings/butt hurtness has anything to do with enforcing the rules. I mean one person's view of informative is obviously the same as another's view of just chit chat. I mean how do you enforce "opinion"????
  16. You'll wanna get it to 350 on the initial heating. I haven't used the spike it but that's the way it is with the couple brands I have experience with.
  17. Just need to lay the baits out in front of a fan for a couple days and it'll dry out eventually. However, you will have to deal with some bubbling. Its not a huge deal depending on how you use your senkos. If you predominantly use them weightless bubbles in the plastic obviously will slow the fall rate but if you using them weighted a few bubbles won't make a bit of difference.
  18. I think its ridiculous how tightly this place is micro managed sometimes. They say it'll clog the page up but they will let a two page pissing contest about whatever go on and on. I think pictures are a great thing. We aren't making invisible baits. I wish they were much more lenient on posting pics in the main forum and made it much easier to post pictures in general. But whatever, I enjoyed the picks Monte, thanks for posting them. I for one have a different viewpoint on sinking additives now. And Mark, I feel like multiple pictures showing a variety of colors was helpful to prove the point of no discoloration from the glass beads across the color spectrum (even laminates). This kind of stuff can run off good contributing members. End of rant.
  19. I believe the 702 will kick harder. Just remember more "action" may not always be better depending on the situation. I have the 706 and it had action but it doesnt cause so much drag in the water that it keeps my jig from getting to the bottom. I fish rivers mostly and a craw with a lot of plastic in the claws and "crazy action" keeps my jig from getting where it needs to be before it gets swept away by the current. I'd recommend getting some samples of both, fishing them and then make a decision. That way you don't end up with something that doesn't fit your needs.
  20. My favorite is the 706 craw just another option and there are a bunch of craws out there!
  21. I think I got mine from clearbags.com They are excellent quality and offer a TON of sizes. I also use the snack bags from the grocery store Spector paddle tail swimbaits. The tails keep their form wa better in the ziplocks than the actual worm bags.

    Various molds

(1)BTS 4 cavity 3" Craw trailer mold $85 TYD (2) BT 4 cavity 4" stick bait molds $80 TYD for both (2) BTS 4 cavity side inject 3.5" swim ripper molds $160 TYD for both (2) Do-It 4 cavity 4.85" Freedom Fry molds $75 TYD for both Can send pics via text or email, just PM me.
  23. Thanks for the correction fellas! I even own a 4 cavity craw trailer mold oriented like that and just never thought about it being top inject.
  24. Does anybody have the 5" BT Paddle tail worm mold or the bears baits paddle tail stick mold? Also is there any other options out there for a paddle tail worm mold?
  25. Also, top inject molds have an injection port for each cavity while a side inject is just one injection port for all the cavities.
