  1. It says in the description that it is only heat resistant to 250 degrees so that seems like it wouldn't work.
  2. This is where I got mine. No idea where I got plasticbags.com Sorry I'm an idiot.
  3. 4.3" BT full round worm will work. Very easy mold to shoot.
  4. You didn't mess up at all. If those are baits that you're gonna use a lot then about any manufacturer makes a good mold. I usually get mine from BTS but that's just a personal preference(I have some from several different companies). Everybody has their own original designs so look around and do a lot of searching before purchasing a particular mold. It stinks to buy something and a week later find a mold that fits your needs better. Also, if you can buy a couple baits from somebody who has the mold you want. That way you can actually see it in action to see if it does what you need it too.
  5. I have the Bass Tackle 4" and it has a serious problem with the denting of the baits.
  6. I just have the original 4 cavity ones. They work great in most applications but it just doesnt do what I want it to do with the finesse stuff. Just trying to get some insight from others who have similar molds. I really appreciate all the responses guys.
  7. I know. I was talking about the Bobs Tackle Shack molds which is why I put BTS.
  8. I was wondering if somebody had the BTS 3" swimmbait mold or the 3" baby fat shad hand pour mold? I am looking for a small swimmbait to fish on a light open jighead. I have the BTS 3.5" swim ripper but I'm wanting something that is easier to get action out of at slower speeds and lighter jigheads. The swim ripper is hard to get and keep swimming at slow speeds or with a light head.
  9. Bob has excellent customer service. He sent me top inject instead of side inject molds once and just sent me the side inject molds and let me keep the top inject!!! He will stand behind his product and look after his customers.
  10. Isn't about the only thing that's patented on the rage craw is the actual ridge on the claw?? Bob's is completely different but produces almost the exact same action.
  11. Yeah I wanted the same thing but just got the 706 and bite it down if needed. It is a wonderful bait and I have caught a bunch of nice fish on it. You won't be disappointed if you get that mold.
  12. Do note that the frog will NOT right itself if not used on the Owner beast hook. From the videos and such that I have seen, you pretty much have to use the Beast Hook with this frog or it just won't work properly.
  13. I like the 706 craw a lot! It is the perfect jig trailer, I have caught 4 fish over 7lbs on that combo this year. It shoots really well and has great action. Best thing is the claws move but don't cause so much drag that it keeps your rig from getting to the bottom (I fish rivers a lot). I also love the BTS flipping hog. I can't tell ya how many fish I've caught on that bait. And Enforcer Bait Molds frog and 8" grub. Easily the best frog I have used and I am a frog fanatic. The 8" grub is a very unique bait that can be used many ways but I like it on top water weightless. For a worm I really like the bigger Freedom Fry from Do-It. Really easy to shoot and it's a big enough worm you can flip with a big hook or fish it on a shakey head. Very versatile bait.
  14. I would like to also add that you heat the blending block prior to injecting.
  15. I just bought the little blending block from Bass Tackle and an extra 4oz injector from Do-It since I already had one. Works ok but that unit you have should eliminate most of my problems. I have a hard time getting the two injectors to start at the same time and keep both injecting evenly throughout. Basically there are just gonna be some "bad" baits the way I have to do it. Your setup shouldn't have any of those issues. I like to use the screws/bolts that come with the mold to clamp them that way I don't have to worry about pressing too hard and blowing out the mold. For some reason I seem to press a lot harder when I'm doing the laminates like that.
  16. I think that the Enforcer Molds frog just can't be beat. I absolutely live it. If you can find an Enforcer mold that fits your needs get it, you will not be disappointed.
  17. I use 12 drops of watermelon green X2, 8 drops of lurecraft kudzu, and one drop black X2 per cup of plastic. I really like the dark watermelon color I get and the Kudzu just makes it "p0p" if that makes sense. It was a little dull till I added the Kudzu to the mix.
  18. I have a mold or two like that and have had no problems. I will look and see which ones they are later but I think it's a little ridiculous to slam the guy like that without even trying the mold OR contacting him first. And to bitch about the turn around on a mold purchased during black Friday (i.e. lots of molds purchased at that time) and mailed around the holidays is just being short sighted. Hell it could have just been the mail and not him. I have had nothing but exceptional customer service from BTS. Also, do you have another mold exactly like it? If not you may have to adjust your plastic temps to avoid the denting.
  19. Byron Velvic took it over from Ike and I think it went under after that. I think the Boston guy youre thinking of is that clown Charlie Moore "The Mad Fisherman". I absolutely hate that guy haha, joke of a fishing show if you ask me.
  20. Strike King Denny Brauer flipping tubes have a solid head. I believe they are still made.
  21. All of my packages from Enforcer came in less than a week and a half. Pretty reasonable to me. And like I said if there are any issues/questions he is more than available. Wonderful customer service.
