  1. I would shoot a different mold and see if you have the same problem.
  2. How does the oring look. There not real robust.
  3. Sounds like your not getting a good seal on the oring.
  4. Your inducing air in the injector, what are you using to inject with?
  5. Its in there. Some companies just like to sell you a bunch.
  6. @Vodkaman No inserts, and not complicated.
  7. Can be done with a 100 cavitys at once, just got to have the mold setup right.
  8. try easing up a bit on the clamp, knob whatever. Typically that is venting related when they don't fill out. Not always tho.
  9. I could see it with the big 1/2 ties maybe working ok. Or even take the threaded rod and cut a paddle from a sheet of silicone, about 1/4" thick.
  10. http://www.praziusa.com/stirwhip-18-mixer/ you call the number?
  11. Id carve more vents into it. Air pockets will dent as well. In a mold like this. One drop of plastic closes the vent off immedietly. I dont think a longer sprue is going to keep it dent free, as long as your keeping it topped off. 7" bait is a lot of plastic. Hard to keep dent free hand injecting.
  12. From what I have seen, I have yet to see a denting problem not caused by gate size, or thick appendages feeding thru thin ones.
  13. Im using a zebra thermal printer for small blk/wht labels.
  14. Toner is expensive for a laser. As well as maintenance, If you get printed labels, you get them so you don't cut them, generic, so your logo etc. Print a small white label that sticks on in blk/wht, and add it to the bag at the bottom, style. color. count etc.
  15. Thermal Is Black and white Only, Lazer does a good job on the right backing, Hard to beat just getting a 1000 or so vinyl ones made up for the best look.
  16. I think more would if they did not get shunned all the time.
  17. Your welcome, I know a few guys using them that love them.

  19. Opinions are awesome, But not always the best endorsed on the internet, You rarely will catch me with a pair of gloves on, But I don't go spread the word there not needed. Just saying. We all tend to forget sometimes who might read this stuff. Could be a 11 or 12 yr old kid, that found some bait making stuff his granddad had hiding in the garage .
  20. a guy gets scolded for posting a picture, but stuff like this slides by all the time, just saying. whats good for one should be good for all.. "I may start doing injectors, but I want to perfect a system for making interchangeable parts first." Oh btw, I recommend the Jacobs injector..
  21. Well I thought this forum was against self promotion...
  22. Ah, what good is a thread without that little self promotion in it... Way to go Bob...
  23. It will only take one time of someone getting seriously burned to make the pin a valuable investment. Kind of like a seatbelt.
  24. I was under the impression it was the Best thing since sliced Bread..
