  1. Every plastic bait maker should own one of these IMO.. http://www.bestvaluevacs.com/3gvackit.html
  2. Keep in mind doing so, you got to mix it and get it out of that drum. Which is not that difficult, but if not done right you can ruin the shore hardness of a barrel really quickly...
  3. Well a sand cast mold certainly isnt a replica due to the texture, and the machine mold is stamped do it. regardless if its licensed. But that is great if there cast in Iowa. I sure would be advertising that. I cant find anywere that says made in USA. So one can only assume.
  4. I was under the assumption at 30.00, and they dont say made in USA they were being cast over seas. Do they say made in USA on them? Most American made products do out of pride. I may be wrong tho.
  5. If you like supporting china, sand cast is a great alternative.
  6. Definetly not overvented. Loosen up on the clamps a little. Shoot hotter. Preheat the mold a little.
  7. Shoot it with hotter plastic.
  8. You got to buy bigger quantitys of materials. You should be able to make a stick bait for about .15-.20 At 30.00 a gallon the plastic cost you .085 at 350 count.
  9. Whatever works for you guys, i have microwaved aluminum chips in plastic more than once. Wasnt a issue in my micro. I have used aluminum based automotive pearl powders as well.
  10. You cant put aluminum in the microwave by itself, Put it in there inside plastic, the plastic absorbs the energy.
  11. Seen a guy use that laminate wood flooring. Said it was awesome to work on top off.
  12. I got two of the 4 cavity bts molds for sale. Pm me.
  13. Id like to see the bait. Looking at the mold it should shoot. Have you contacted bass tackle? You jumped in on me, have you got the mold hot and shot it. Them little bb holes are usually cold mold hot plastic.
  14. I found these pots to not like plastic as well. I considered at one time making a stainless insert. Nickel should do well tho.
  15. Oh. I thought we were talking stick baits here, apeendages on the end of thin claws is a different ball game. As you claw is becoming your gate for the raised edge.
  16. LOL. Now your going to make me shoot a video!!
  17. A properly gated mold will shoot at 350 dent free.
  18. Myth. Design patents are totally at the judges discretion, if he or she feels it looks similar. Utility patents cover individuality's across a wide range.
  19. Rcbv, your paying way way to much for a 1/32 cutter for aluminum. Pm me if you want my insight. If not i understand.
  20. the fusion 360 is cad and cam integrated.
  21. The Fusion looks very good to me, I have played with it. The only scary thing is, if I devote a bunch of time into learning it, And they pull the plug on the price, and stick it to everyone. Being cloud based they always hold the keys to the castle.
  22. Just yankin your chain a bit Fish On...
