Chiefs and Royals fan here. Don't watch any sport religiously though. I have trouble sitting and watching tv...get bored fast. Sam Adams Oktoberfest helps.

Since I do very little tying, I get my feathers from Cabela's or Bass Pro.

I suppose I should do some reading and research before I pull the trigger. I'm a "shoot first, ask questions later" kind of guy. Gets me in to trouble sometimes.

I've been looking at buying a Makerbot digitizer and 3D printer. It's too much to spend on this hobby, according to my wife. I may buy it without her knowing. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.

My first airbrush setup was the single action version of that kit. The compressor isn't very powerful but it works. Stays pretty quiet too.

My wife keeps making fun of me for finding lurecrafting uses in random objects while shopping. -
I cut myself while carving with a OCC knife and drinking Tullamore Dew whiskey. I didn't see warning labels on either of the products packaging about carving under the influence. In this crazy world, I don't think I'd have an issue getting a lawyer for both potential lawsuits.

Since I haven't read any horrible advice in this thread, I'll step in. Have you tried contacting your local mafia chapter? For a reasonable weekly protection fee, they'll take care of this problem and help you with any local competition.

Nice! Lure looks great! I just caught my first bass on a crankbait (KO I painted) a few weeks ago. Lost that lure in a underwater tree yesterday. -
I have a bunch of Rapala and Strike King crankbaits that I don't use. I don't like lures that I haven't made or painted. I have repainted a few and given them to my 8 year old niece (she loved them).
