  1. We use the water base paint from spike it everyday on soft plastics and we have to dip each bait after painting. We use a standard air brush, nothing special. We have not used the SB paint but if you call Spike It and talk to Them they will guide you in the right direction! You can check out our painted Swimbaits at www.arizonacustombaits.com Thanks
  2. I am really impressed with the Polysol plastic, I have stayed with M & F because I cant find anything I Like but I may have just found it with Polysol!
  3. I would say the 5" BT Stick, the sale runs until noon tomorrow so you can call and talk to Sarah and she will know for sure!
  4. I dont think so, I know he does a Black Friday sale every year! I have had a tough time with communication with him as well!
  5. Go check out the sale at Basstackle.com!
  6. A guy by the name of Fred Ward invented the bait and had Roland advertise it! It was made to get into small pockets so the bait would helicopter down, they sold thousand of them!
  7. Very misleading title! M & F is a great company with some of the best products on the market!
  8. We airbrush many soft plastic baits, some baits can not be dipped so we spray them with VPI and it works awesome!
  9. I have this mold and boy it is tough to hand pour with the narrow parts of the body!
  10. I believe I may have that injector you made!
  11. Just called the number from their website the other day and they answered. I have probably called a dozen times over the past year and they have always answered the phone.
  12. I like to let baits sit for at least 24 hours to cure but sometimes that can't happen. When I need to ship out earlier I will put the baits in water and let air dry and package them up. Never had anyone say anything about it!
  13. I live down the road from BTS and Basstackle, I am in and out of both of their shops all the time. Yes I have told Bob about this thread. I was in Bobs shop today and he said he is getting caught up. These guys both do big production molds that range $5-$15k a piece so they may have a machine tied up for a long time. Be patient and u will get a very good product!
  14. I have priced what I believe to be the better plastics on the market like M & F , Lure Craft, and plastic from Do IT. These three manufactures have 55 gallon drums priced within $15 of each other. Now if you buy plastic from another manufacture at significantly cheaper rate I believe there is a difference in materials used to make it. From my experience the cheaper plastic makes a cheaper looking bait as it may be tacky, plastic may bubble etc. But if a cheaper plastic works for your individual use then that's awesome.
  15. Every time I have called they have answered, I believe it is Chris and he always talks to me for awhile and always answers my questions, great guys and they make a fantastic product. I highly recommend their products. We have two of their shooting star systems and we have four of their vises and a few molds. Dan
  16. Here is the breakout for M and F, (2) drums at $1214.00 each. Shipping is $187.67. ($1307.00 per drum)
  17. Sorry my bad, here is the break out from Spike It on their plastic. 2 Drums of Pourasol $635 each, $360 Roughly for shipping = ($815 per drum.) 4 Drums of Pourasol $510 each, $515 Roughly for shipping =($640 per drum).
  18. Just talked to my brother, he said the batch we had was missing some kind of mixing agent for microwave use, that is why it burnt! Like I said if it works for you then that's great!
  19. Actually I had spike it quite me last week and the best price value is 4 drums at $505 each and that includes shipping. It is a huge savings if you can deal with tacky plastic and foam like crazy. I couldn't use it!!
  20. Buy your plastic in the 55 gallon drums. I only use M and F plastic. I just recently bought another two drums. If you were to buy one 5 gallon plastic with shipping it is $165.00. My 5 gallon buying it by the drum comes out to $118 per 5 gallon with shipping. The savings is $47 per 5 gallons, add that savings up per drum and that his huge!!!
  21. M and F is by far the best plastic on the market but probably the most expensive!
