  9. Thanks a lot for the info. I will exhaust all other ways to fix the problem before I try the heat methed. Thanks again.
  10. Thanks. I'll try somethings. I can't even use 100 or 120 degree temp. to try to dry it out? Just asking.
  11. It was the Pro Tec white powder that seems heavy. If I shake it a little while air is on it seems to get fluid but that goes away when setting still. I might want to try changing the paper in the bottom. What paper do you use? I have tried different brown bags but i'm not real satisfied with the results. The paint is about 7 months old and in the same containers as it came with about3/4s left.
  12. I am having trouble getting the powder paint to form a good fluid bed in my cups. Does humidity effect the powder so it can't make a good airy fliud cup? It seems heavy. If so is there any way to get rid of the moisture if thats the problem? I only use them maybe once month and have about 3/4s of the cans left. Hate to throw them out. Any Ideas?
  13. Can you use straight wire in the spinnerbait molds then after you pour put in the R bend using the little blue bender. This way the wire doesn't lay back over the mold when you close it. It looks to me then you can pour all your sizes at once. What am I not seeing. Thanks
  14. Can you use straight wire and bend the R in it after the pour

  16. so you can't use but the one space each time
  17. In the video why doesn't the other arm interfere with the closing of the mold
  18. I've been searching for spinnerbait molds that have a ring for skirts and also a keeper for plastics if want to. Do-it has one- are there any others around. The sizes i would like are 1/8. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. Probably can't get all those sizes in one mold but would be nice. Thanks
  19. Guys; I have a 3" skirt mold for the fresh water fish but would like a 5" CNC mold for a bigger skirt for my saltwater. I can't seem to find any. Anyone know of any? Thanks
  20. Mossy; Like I said I'm using Lurecraft 552 and I just asked for a sample of 556 to see if it is any more flexible and still stay durable. The mold I made was from Alumilite high strength 2 for the shrimp. The shrimp I used was from Savage Gear 3D manic shrimp 4". I made a mold with 3 shrimp. I liked the laminate pours the best. I had so many color combination I didn't use them all but the colors I use most was a red and white, green and white, root beer and white and just white or light chartreuse. I used a 1/8 oz. jig. I also made curly tailed grubs from do it molds- 3". I only had medium blue, chartreuse and green chartreuse all with a flake. I like .035 flake in almost everything. Did good with the grubs. Also had good luck with a 4" jerk bait in blue back and white belly using weighted hooks I poured using keepers. One other bait I tried was 3.75 gizzard shad with hook slot for a weighted hook. I got the bites but couldn't get the hook set as well for some reason.
  21. I'm here in Fl. On the west coast fishing for sea trout and snook and I am trying out for the first time the lurecraft green 552. I am very pleased with my shrimp mold I made using a very realistic shrimp pattern. It is just as durable as the gulp. I might experiment with the next softer. I do a laminate pour using a lot of glass beads for weight and soak it in upper hand scent. You can add at least 1 percent to the weight with the scent. It hold up very well to pin fish. No more Gulp.
  22. Thanks a lot guys for all the good info
