Hey jigman i was looking for the diameter of 12 guage wire. 16 guage from what im reading is closer to 1/16.maybe thats not the copper.im wanting to use that 1/16 weed guard fg-9 for sure. What size nail for the 1/16 hole

Id like to do the small weedguard like 1/16. If i do this right when i pour these what can i use for the weedguard hole? Im thinking i can use the finish nail? Thanks for all your help. That mold on barlows for 1/4 says 1/0 hook

Awesome thanks jigman i appreciate it. One more thing deer hunter on the for sale form has a bullet mold. The one he has has 3-4 1/4s 3-4 1/8s. But i think it takes the small 1 or 2 575 style hook. What im wanting to do is make the mold weedless and take 3/0 hooks. How do i go about getting that mold take that bigger hook? The ole man we bought these from for years around here doesnt tie anymore and he always used that bullet head with a gamma 3/0. Everybody is ised to it that way and confident in them

Yo al are you saying use a finishing nail the size of the base pin. I have a bunch of the 1/8 base pins and teflon pins laying around. If you was gonna take out the aluminum what would you use. Thanks a ton

Hey everyone im new here my name is chris. Im not new to making jigs but not really modifying a mold. Im needing a bullet mold that is weedless. The 1/4 ounce would be what i would pour most. Do it has the mold it goes from 1/8-1 ounce.but they are not weedless. The ones i used to buy he would use a drill bit when they were done and he used 7 heavy action fibers from a weedguard. This to me would take forever. There has to be a way maybe to add that 1/8 base pin to that bullet mold. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
