  1. Thanks Ben, I guess they have some voodoo magic going on in there. I thought maybe they forgot something when they assembled it. I can clearly see the magnets move in and out when the dial is turned, Pretty strange. Thanks Jaa
  2. I have a Question that I hope someone can help with, I just picked up a new in the box Quantum PT KVD 101 spta left hand the 100 spta is right hand. This reel has the Centrmag cast control system which is the dual cast control. Centrifugal adjustments are made under the cover on the spool I understand that. Now the magnetic adjustments are made on the outside dial on the cover which moves the magnets in or out away from the spool, However their is nothing on the spool that is Magnetic? The spool shaft is non magnetic, And the spool is 100% aluminum Sooo Just how does the mag adjustment affect the spool without anything magnetic on it?? I Don't believe their is in fact a dual cast control on this reel just centrifugal cast control. If you have one of these Please take a look and tell me I'm Crazy. Thanks Jaa
  3. I was just on ebay and ran across a Zonar mold 1/4 and 1/2 oz makes 2 of each, If anyone is looking 4 one. and no it's not mine http://www.ebay.com/itm/DO-IT-SINKER-JIG-MOLD-ZONAR-LURE-NICE-ZR-4-24-1-2-1-4-OZ-MOLD-3903-/311595118019?
  4. I've used them in the past do it outside until you can flux and skim the crap off, But I was just pouring cannon balls for downriggers it worked fine for that, Not sure how well it will work in a jig mould as most newer batteries are made of an alloy like wheel weights are. You can neutralize the acid dried on the plates in a bucket of water with about a 1/4 of a box of baking soda, Just rinse well and make sure they dry in the sun a few days. If their all sulfited up with white crap between the plates ya might want to just trash them. Jaa
