  1. Hi, Does anyone know where to get the little circle stickers that say "made with mustad hook" thank you
  2. Hi Folks, I am looking for a mold to make a 60 degree 1/2 oz tube jig. I ve looked everywhere and nothing. I don't want to pay the big money to have one made. If anyone knows where to buy one let me know. Big Thanks
  3. I dont use the pin. This way I don't have the weed guard hole in the jig. I trim the lead off that goes in the weed guard spot and then smooth it over.
  4. I ve been making 60 degree finesse jigs with out weed guard for small mouth, but Ive been using the mold that takes a weed guard. It works but is a pain in the ass. Anyone else use a weedless football mold with out the weed guard or pins. This is the only mold that gives me a hard time getting a clean pour. I use mustad 32786 bln as the mold says to use.
  5. I've dealt with fishing skirts, sometimes the person on the other end sounds like she is in a bad mood. Aside from being a little cranky the service is fantastic and they know their stuff.

    Question

makes sense smalljaw, I was worried that if the paint runs a bit when baking it will make the hole smaller and the weed guard wont fit.

    Question

Thanks, what happens if you bake with the pin still in. On various supplier websites they say to bake with the pin in.

    Question

Hi All, just registered on this forum. Been pouring for a year now and this is by far the best place for everything lure making. I am making weedless football jigs and the weed guards melt off when powder painting, even with the heat proof covers on them. I am going to try the other way....gluing after the paint is cured. which is better, the metal pin that comes with the mold or the Teflon ones that can be ordered. also can the paint be cured with the pin still in the jig. Thanks Jamie Antoine
