    Rainbow Trout

I have been messing around for a while but, never had anything worth posting. This Rainbow Trout pattern turned out pretty good. The pink stripe may be a bit larger than I originally was thinking. But, I did want the lure to be a bit bolder than straight natural. So I did go a little bolder in the pink. The cookbook on this is; white sealer, whole bait UV glow, whole bait course white metallic, sides and back moss green back fluorescent hot magenta, sides ( Testors ) opaque black spatter everything Createx except for pink (Testors)
  2. I use mainly Createx and some Testors airbrush paints. I have had some issue with lures eye sticking to the painted baits before finishing. What glue have you used that hasn't melted down your paint? Super glue gel? Want something to applied quickly and clean. Thanks, Doug
  3. Where have you found the best price for triple grip trebles? Thanks, Doug
  4. rufthumbs message sent. Thanks, Doug
  5. Has anybody used this for lure finish? Works well for rod finish. It doesn't finish have a super smooth finish but, I'm not concerned about how it feels to anything other than a fish. It is one part and dries in about 24 hours. Any feedback on the U40 good or bad? Running field trials on it now. Thanks, Doug
  6. Where can I buy Brite-Bak foil tape?
