Thanks Barry! I appreciate it. Shad are the primary food in my local waters and I have painted them in different varieties also. Some are foiled and others like these done in pearl colors. I also like to add iridescent purple or blue to the back on some of them. -

I cut my lips out with an orbital jigsaw and sand the edges with 400 and 600 grit wet sandpaper. Then buff them with a polishing wheel.

Great work! Thanks for the weighting info. It can take a lot of trial and error to get it right on any given design. PVC is nice for testing the amount and placement without the need to seal them like the wood versions. -
