    Catawba Worm

Very nice! I have these on my tomato plants lol
  8. Sorry the original photo is a little blurry, but at least she catches fish! I was reading through forum threads and came upon this one that had me thinking how cool it would be to see some fish catch pictures on all these awesome garage baits http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/33995-new-idea-for-best-lure-contest/. This fish was my first bass of the year and my very first fish on the Keeper. Comparing the size of the bait to the size of her mouth has me dumbfounded.
  9. Those feet will get attention for sure! Well done!
  10. 8.75" multi-joint Keeper Trout swimbait with assist hook hanger in the tail and an additional line tie on the chin. 100% hand carved out of a single block of wood using only a utility knife, a handsaw, and sandpaper. Base colors are spray painted with the detailing and highlights hand-applied using acrylic. This bait took over a year to finish, but it swims like a champ and has a very special place in my tackle box.
  11. Thanks for the reply, Pete! Can you specify a bit on what was the end of them? Did they give out or were they just too uncomfortable to use in the heat? I'll look into the spray booth thing, but I have the feeling that working/storage space will be an issue for me. Hey Mark, thank you for chiming in! That makes sense to just have fans blowing fumes and other nasties away...I'll have to look into this too! For the respirator, do you think there is a big difference between the two models I mentioned? I don't want to skimp on safety gear just to save a few bucks, but if there's no real advantage to the 6211 then I might as well go cheap haha
  12. The other option I found is a step down...I honestly have no clue what the difference is besides the price. Is it worth it paying the extra $?
  13. Hello TU! I suspect many of you are tired of this topic already, but I could really use your help! (I've already used the search function btw) I am in the market for a relatively cheap but quality respirator to use while sanding, spray painting, and clear coating my hard resin baits. I will not be working indoors so long as I can help it. If any of you could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it...looking for something that is affordable and will last (replaceable filters). My search results yielded this one from 3M and I was wondering if it is a good fit and if it has replaceable filters. The ability to use while pouring soft plastics would be a good bonus too Thanks in advance! Dan
  14. Guess I gotta find myself some Pure Ice!
  15. I haven't found any other way around it other than what you're doing really. I think the quality of the paint and ability to be "watered down" plays a pretty big role in it...although I've never tried painting flies before so I can't help you there lol! Hope this helps!

    Crawdad

Awesome! Is the body a soft plastic material?
