That's what they invented the tight rope jig for also try using as light a jig as possible. The tight rope is tied in a tight puffball and typically lighter heads so it doesn't get stuck between the rocks as much.

If you end up using the mold without eye sockets you can take them to a vice or hard piece of metal and tap the sides of the jig flat so you can glue your eyes on. I do this on some of my ball heads and it works well.

I think I'll try the rubber tubing on some precast jig heads I already have.I actually make my own safety pin style keepers that I pour into my jig heads they work far better than anything I've ever used.

I'm trying to find some type of material to mimick the trail-R-lock keeper like they use on All terrain tackle jigs. I've contacted the company and they won't sell them separate. Maybe cut some thin strips of rubber from an inner tube or black silicone tubing. Any thoughts?
