  1. Restarting my old company that y'all knew and loved after a year away, but I'm working with a friend of mine now and i need to pick up a few more of these molds but it seems they've stopped production. Please reach out if you'd be willing to sell any or trade.
  2. That idea fits the bill action wise, and I'll definitely give it a shot! I'm trying to make it modular so tails can be swapped, so I'm not sure how I would do that with mesh, but ya never know till ya try it. Thanks for the input!
  3. I can't be too open, as the bait this is about is yet to be molded, but I've got this idea for a soft plastic glide bait, anybody done this before or got any tips on how to do the joint connections? Its the last thing I need to figure out before molding. Any help is appreciated!
  4. Now I'm confused about how I'm getting better results from dead on, Ill let you know if I figure it out.
  5. I've been pouring with the dead on black bucket plastisol for almost a year now, and have had zero problems with durability. I had been wondering about trying the floating stuff, but if this thread is anything to go by I will not be doing so. I wonder if you guys would have different results if you tried the black bucket as opposed to the floating? Sincerely, Garrett Lee
  6. If you want a silicone mold, the 5" bape mold from stankx baits should be good. I have used several of their other molds, and they are excellent. https://www.stankxbaitco.com/product/sbc-molds-swims-jerks
  7. Thanks, I might go that route, cause I have little bit of extra money, and love that bait. I might also just save until I can get the aluminum one.
  8. Thanks, I have looked around their websites, but never with much intention, as I mostly a handpour guy. I'm currently looking for a really food 2-2.5" swimbait to throw in some local ponds, do either of those companies make one?
  9. Thanks, I had seen that and really liked it, I don't have color shift, or the mold, but I'll give it a try!
  10. Hey guys, looking for some ideas on the best tri-color laminates to pour in my swimbaits, I'm bored and want some new colors to try. Thanks a ton guys! If you have a color idea you'd like me to pour up for you, shoot me a text at 970-568-6659.
  11. I would be willing to pour you some. They're low cavity count so they cost a little more. I can only do solid colors or swirls, as I haven't got a dual injector right now. Shoot me a text at 970-568-6659 if you're interested.
  12. I ordered some molds from them via amazon, one of them worked great and I still have it, but the other one was crap, it was a swimbait mold that didn't even swim. Since Then I have also bought a mini fluke mold and a mini craw and they work great as well, so just don't buy swimbaits from them.
  13. I haven't used any from lure parts online, but if you want some killer handpour swimbait molds check out https://www.stankxbaitco.com/product/sbc-molds-swims-jerks . I get great results from those molds, if you want to do any capsule pouring make sure you get the 4" step tail, 7" bape, or 7" rocket.
