Newbie question: do you paint the bait with the lip on? Or do you paint and THEN attach the lip? I ask because I’ve taped my lips and when I pull the tape off (blue paint tape) paint (or my topcoat UV Alumi resin)!always comes off. If I don’t tape as close, then the lip gets paint so I have been unable to get a clean paint job like yours!

UV Resin question ?

Has anyone find that depending on how you hang the lures with Alumilite they end up being thin on the side where they hang from??? I hang mine lip up, and the tip of the lure has almost no resin. Could it be a matter of hanging them sideways as opposed to vertical?
