@jrhopkins I saw some of your older stuff about making hair tails. The slot cut for tails is perfectly rectangular, with both inside faces parallel. However, when making hair tails, the cross section of the tail is not perfectly rectangular, but rather a more organic shape. (with lexin or plastic tails, the two sides of the tail are perfectly parallel and it matches the width of the slot perfectly.) How do you make the tail match up with the slot? Do you fill in the perimeter of the slot with epoxy and sand after joining the two pieces?
