  2. The old flat living rubber had better action easier to tie better flare and was and all around better material in fine regular & heavy grade. Old school flat rubber is just a spin off of the true flat rubber of years ago. Not made with the same quality grade material. Round rubber is a good product in fine regular & heavy grades. It works well with silicone flashabou and bucktail accents.

  6. With skirts plus when ordering a custom color you have to order 1000 skirts As far as matching a color or colors there nobody better in the business at it.
  7. azsouth let me know how watching the videos work out for you tying the Puffball jig or Lions collar jig. I mastered tying both style jigs in 1984/85 & 1986. And tying the skirt forward or umbrella stack flared skirts on regular jigs. In started in 1991.

  13. cadman have you tried tying them in silicone puffball jig yet. They turn out really good.
  14. I agree with Munkin on the mustad hooks for finesses jigs and banded skirt jigs i wouldn't throw my money away.
  15. Many different sizes easy to work with light and they blend in well with the other components of the bait.

  18. Crymdawg Can you tell us why you use reflector type on blades of your blade baits. Is there a theory on how it help you catch fish. I'm not trying to put you on the spot. I'm just curious is all. With all the blades that are polished Gold Nickel Bronze and Black nickel that are available now days

  20. 2 different ways to tie without use anything on the thread to lock it down. Skirts will not slip or fail.
  21. Ive been tying jigs with upholstery thread for 46 years now never used glue or nail polish to lock down the thread. Even when tying bucktail jigs. There no need too. Just one trick in tying to lock the thread down. I do it with all my Jigs Spinnerbaits Bladed jigs and Buzz Bait heads before I powder coat them.
