    Bandito Bug

Just letting you guys know. Don’t be afraid to look on Amazon for the Bandito bug mold. I picked up the aluminum 4” mold. Pleasantly suprised.
  2. Good day fellow bait makers and artists! Been looking around at the known good sources of blanks. I’m wondering has anyone stumbled upon a knock off of the Berkley Money Badger! I want to airbrush some of my own designs. Thanks!
  3. New bait color I am trying out! Let me know what y’all think! Motor oil/ chartreuse tail. With some red and black flake of course
  4. McLuvin, Yes, the injectors are connected at the top. It seems to be a temperature game. Sometimes the colors wrap and sometimes it’s a beautiful line separation. But also yes the bond is great.
  5. Tried a new color this afternoon and man does it work!
  6. This mold does not take a laminate plate, it is open pour. Working on new colors. Lines look great!!!
  7. There is no evidence of cold cracking. I’m just curious about pouring both colors on the hot plate? Just didn’t want them to blend, these didn’t so I think it’ll be fine the way I’m doing now.
  8. Oh and right now I just had a gallon from lureworks or spike it(whichever) but plan to move on to the baitplastics 242 blend next time.
  9. Thank you sir for the in depth explanation! I’ve poured solid color worms without the use of the hot plate and they were pretty good. I was trying to do the laminate with these but like everything else practice makes perfect! I’m sure these worms will catch fish just like others. Just trying to get things dialed in. I had some left over purple from the flukes I made and thought the chartreuse paired nicely. Next time I won’t put the flake so heavily because it went straight to the top lol
  10. Alright gents! New questions?! Just got a a cheap ole hot plate (griddle) and was start some dual color finesse worms. So researching shows 250 degrees. Check. Now when I’m ready to put the second color, do I leave it on the hot plate at 250? Won’t the colors mix? Also, how long to let them “bake” and at what temperature? Here’s a picture of the first set. Not terrible for first attempt .
  11. Did this ever get sold? Sorry late to the game!
  12. Oh that is nice. I purple highlight would make that shell pop as well!
  13. Apparently lighting is everything LOL
