I tried to find a recipe for a Crappie Spinnerbait for Bass, to no avail. So, I experimented and this is what I came up with, my Crappie Bubba:
2 Tabs Hot Tips Silver B/W
1 Tab Plasma Sexy Shad
1 Tab Crystal Shad
Order: 1 Hot Tip Silver B/W, 1 tab Crystal Shad, 1 Tab Plasma Sexy Shad, 1 tab Hot Tip Silver B/W

I posted a few that I worked on recently and I'll add more spinnerbaits and jigs as I go. The red jigs are my Potomac Craw Slammers. I made these for a friend of mine.

Would you share a crappie skirt build with me?

I also fished Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn. Spent many days on Rayburn when it first opened. We lived in Lufkin. My dad used to dove hunt there before it was a lake. We took many big Crappie in the old wood line out from Hank's Marina. I never got to fish Fork.

I lived in Magnolia and Hot Springs and fished Millwood, Ouachita, Hamilton, and Catherine and caught a lot of fish in each. Millwood had the largest bass. That's where I learned to Texas rig worm fish. We made our own worms and had one that looked exactly like a real worm. Great bait. Another bait I used was a purple worm with white curled tail.

Thank you. I was recently asked to build 30 jigs and 20 spinnerbaits for a tournament bass fisherman. He's been using them and catching fish. He took 4th two weeks ago and missed 1st place by 4 ounces. As I build them I'll share a few recipes. The attached photo shows a few build last week.
