  1. Several years ago there was a little mom and pop tackle shop down the road from the house. It was expensive as heck but I went there when I wanted a good conversation, a great cup of coffee, and an impossible to find anywhere jig head. The owner said he got the lead heads from a friend out of state who poured them. The packaging wasn't that great but plastic bags and paper tags don't go on the end of a hook. Most of us remember the old school weedles worm hooks that had the saftey pin type wire that came down and looped over the barb of the hook, well this jig head was almost identical to a Hogie jig head with the spring lock instead of a lead collar, and the same kind of weed guard as those ol' weedless worm hooks. I kept the packaging for years so I could try and find some more when I ran out but after fishing a few tournaments in the rain, my tackle bag (where I kept the packaging) got soaked and as a result the ink on the packaging was lost. I am desperately trying to find these jig heads again and have considered trying to find a mold and modify it to accept the spring locks and weed guard wire. Can anybody help me find a company who makes such a jig head. I have found Hogie, Norton, and it is very similar to the Predator heads. PLEASE HELP ME
