  1. Hello everyone, excited to join this site. I am new to the lure making world, but incredible excited. I am an avid tournament fisherman in Texas and I am looking to start out painting crank baits and such, then moving to soft plastics, the gambit. I am just now looking to purchase the airbrush setup and supplies. Hopefully within the next few weeks. I studied graphic arts in school and I am a pretty good artist, so this is right up my alley along with my fishing addict...LOL Anyway, great stuff here, look forward to being a regular contributor as I learn this great craft. Question will be coming soon, so get ready!! Bill aka. TexasRigged

Hello all from south central Arkansas. Just thought that I would introduce myself. I am a 37 year old married father of four, mechanic in a chicken factory, and go bass fishing as often as family and work will allow. I recently started experimenting with carving my own crankbaits (now i'm hooked haha). Thank you all for the wealth of info that is on this site that has helped me get started and keep up the good work. See you on the water.
