A buddy of mine was wanting me to make him some jigs to use for redfish down in Florida. Being it’s saltwater, which I know nothing about.. would I need to use a corrosion resistant hook for the jigs? If so does anybody know where I can find them? The molds I’ll be using are the ARK-3-AY Arky and the SUB-3-AY Stand Up jig molds. Any info would be appreciated, thank you!

How do people (big production guys and small production guys) do 3 colored baits? I'm trying to figure out the best way to inject a mold with 3 colors like for an example, chicken on a chain with a chartreuse tail? I have seen a way one guy on you tube does it (injects chartreuse in the mold, lets it cool, opens the mold and he cuts the part(s) out you don't want to be chartreuse, closes the mold and then re-injects his two colors using a dual injector. This method seems to waste A LOT of soft plastic and seems like it would take a lot of time doing. I know you can re-heat soft plastic but if you are trying to put out a high volume this kills the production time. I am just curious at this moment. I am not trying to produce a mass quantity right now. I am just trying to figure a few things out before I get to that point, if I get to that point. Thanks in advance for your replies and knowledge and my apologies if I was vague in any part of my question.

Insert hand cut from copper bar on a band saw, .09" diameter hole machined with drill press, prismatic tape applied, skull eyeball design made with SketchBook Pro and printed on vinyl before being installed. Master lure hand is hand lathed, silicon rubber mold made, insert placed into mold, and polyurethane resin is poured into the mold and cured under pressure. Vinyl skirts attached. Wahoos, Marlin, and Tunas beware.
