  1. So I have been making my own molds for about 2 months now, have found this site to be very very helpful. Finally signed up and I have a few questions for the experts. I have actually made my own injector out of PVC + Fittings (ill post a picture later). I really don't want to spend 50-60$ for a real injector but I am starting to think they might be worth it. Do the injectors have some type of air relief system built into them? I am using POP molds for now (until i want to spend more money for silicone), and I can inject the molds with no vent holes, but the pressure seems to build up and either crack my molds, or ill backtrack and suck some of the liquid back up. How do you know when to stop when you are injecting with no vent holes? I have seen videos of people online just shooting the mold full and stopping with no pressure backfire. So basically Ive started making vent holes (which I'd like to eliminate) but it seems to be so much easier in terms of no pressure build up & knowing when to stop injecting. Does anyone have any venting systems with their POP molds they would like to share with me? Also I am always looking for new ideas with my mold, any tips are always welcomed! Pictures are very helpful to me Thanks!
