Jigsbydirk
How do I keep my colors, like bubblegum pink, chartreuse, and other light colors from fading?
Senkosam
Protect them from ultraviolet light and use a bit more colorant.
dampeoples
I had some fade on me when I first started, and I thought that some of it was how hot I had the plastic, I think I pour on the cool side now.
saint308
I had that issue. If you reheat plastic too much it will fade overnight. I saw that happen with watermelon colors the most. Also, if you do a dry reheat it will happen. Always reheat in liquid. Saint.
GB GONE
Also, if you do a dry reheat it will happen. Always reheat in liquid. Saint. GREAT ADVICE!!! If you use some "fresh" plastic and heat it to liquid, add your re-melts in smaller pieces, your color will hold a lot better!! Thanks Saint!!!
