Babe
I seen some Q&A on use of glass and plastic syringes for injecting plastic. Has anyone tried a marinade injector for turkey frying? I see they are nickle-plated brass and come in 2-oz., and 4-oz.
Mercury
Well one thing I will say about injection, it must have a large diamiter barell, Dont use a needle, the plastic will cool really fast and clog it. Metal cools much faster than pyrex/glass does, But I seen somthing pretty cool at tractor supply co, a large syringe for cattle with a pistol grip, easier to push out the plastic. Babe
I've seen the pistol grip syringe. It is another good idea, only concern I have is that it has a lexan barrel. I'am wondering, will the hot plastic have an affect on the lexan? I'll keep in mind what you said about the needle, I was thinking about using it. Thats way I like this site, the info and ideas from others, so I don't make alot mistakes when trying something new or different. The injector I mentioned is in Bass Pro, or Cabela's. I'm planning on making big plastics (creatures) for muskie and pike, and was looking for something with large capacity.
Mercury
The big syringe I seen was pyrex cylinder, so you can clean and steralize the whole thing.
