Isnt being famous fun Jim? LOL

Infamous is more like it!!

I am far from the FAMOUS status of TU guys like Matt (Matts Lures) and Nathan (Bettencourtbaits). Their baits are around the world catching monster fish everywhere!!! :worship:

Again, this forum inspires and propels so many ideas and concepts, any accolades are as a direct result of TU and it's members.

I saw an autographed FrankenZ Frog in the Sports Memorablia section on e-bay! Thanks for all your help and inspiration, Jim!

Ha..Ha!!!! You guys are crazy. Starting and ending bid :twocents: !!!!!

I will say though that a little recognition starts a snowball effect. I am doing some baits for a VIP right now and in return am negotiating a little face time/photo time with KVD, Greg Hackney, Mike Wurm and few other Strike King pro staffers. I just want to go talk some fihsing with those guys and to meet KVD would be a dream come true for me.

Who ever said..."Get a hobby" was right on!!!

Now about that Dog House fund so I can go full time!!!!

Better yet, try to hook up a redfishing trip in the LA marsh with the Hack. I am sure he has plenty of room in his triton bay boat. I would imagine that swimbait of yours would be killer. Saint.

Congratulations on your success Jim. As others have said, you are an inspiration to the rest of us. While I have never met anyone on the site, there is still a sense of comraderie that gives me a sense of pride because one of our guys is making it happen.

Regarding KVD - I have met him at a few seminars over the last 10 years and he is always down to earth. Really easy to talk to and if he is interested in designing a bait with you, he is sure to teach you some powerfull things about how plastics work in the bass world.

KVD is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I have been fortunate enough to have fished with him a few times. He is a machine. He is so accurate it is amazing to watch. He will catch a 3 lb'r and tear a spinnerbait down in a second. Change this, change that, and catch a four pounder. His instincts are incredible. Whats amazing is that you think the guy does this for a living and he would get tired of talking about fishing but he still gets exited about it. It's pretty cool to know someone at that level. He probably has forgotten more than I will ever know. It's a neat experience to meet any of those guys. They are all true gentlemen.

Good luck with you bait, and hopefully you will gain something from your experience with those guys.
