Lure--Prof Posted October 29, 2003 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 Thanks Skeeter, I'm currently a spray-can man, although an airbrush is hopefully coming from Santa. While Striper guiding on Lake Cumberland a few years back I discovered that the big walking poppers are terrific smallmouth lures. When casting to a lone beaking fish you have about 3 seconds to deliver the lure if it is a striper. If it was a smallie that busted you could just about drink a cup of coffee and he'd come back and get it. Needless to say, I never left the dock without one tied on.
