River jigin
Recently my 1/2 oz jigs head out of the poison tail mold are not coming out straigt. When you lay they them down on the head they slant to the side instead of being inline. I have noticed on the mold that the hook doesnt seem to fit in nicely like all the other ones do. I am using the right size hook so i really dont know what the problem is. If there is something wrong with the mold is there a waranty on it? I got from barlows if that makes a difference. Thanks
dampeoples
Compare that cavity to the other cavities, see if there is some old lead or something in it to cause things to not fit flush
Tony Maxwell
I usually end up lining my molds with 100 MPH tape to hold the hooks tight. Not where the mold seals but out towards the end of the hooks. On some of my molds I even have to add a layer or 2 of cardboard. Keep working on it. Good luck.
