bassrecord Posted October 20, 2007 Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 Wapsi (Lightning Strike) and Spirit River (Spear-It) have both announced new fly tying hooks. Has anyone tried them yet? Wapsi has renamed their old popper hooks. IMHO they are too expensive ($2.65 per package of 10 hooks) compared to the old TMC 511S they replaced and not nearly as good. Also they do NOT offer all sizes and do not offer shorter lengths in a kink shank. But sadly they are the only 6X long kink popper hooks available.
