walleye4
I am looking for any advice on painting some cranks. Will be mostly just repainting old ones I have that are in bad shape. I have air guns but just need to know where to get paint and what to use(brand, clear coat, etc). Thanks,
wantsome
I use Createx and Wildlife colors paint you can get both at bearair.com. Most people on here use devcon 2 ton from wallmart to clear coat lures. You could do a search for devcon thiers a ton of info on it.
walleye4
Are the Createx paints used right out of the bottle or do you have to dilute them? How do you use the Devcon clear coat? Do you just brush it on? Also, what is a good way to prepare cranks that still have paint on them? Most of what I got I think are plastic bodies. benton B
Walleye, you will want to find a different clear to use. Devcon will can really mess up the weight and balance of plastic baits. If you want to use devcon, do it on a bait you don't like first and then test it.
