crankbait321
I'm a big fan of glitter coated spinnerbait blades. Does anyone know where I can find blades already made like the ones that come on a Nichols spinnerbait? I am aware of the fact that I can coat them myself with glitter but I am tired of doing it and would like a shortcut if possible. I've looked through Stamina and Netcraft with no luck. megabite
Stamina sells the Designer Finish Willow Leaf in White Sparkle (140) which appears identical to the blades in the Nichols double white willow blade spinnerbait. coupled with a White Starflash skirt makes a great spinenrbait. in addition Stamina sells the Willowleaf Pro-Scale Blades in Fire Tiger which appears identical to the blades in the Nichols double willow fire tiger spinnerbait. coupled with a Fire Tiger Starflash skirt makes a great spinenrbait. crankbait321
Yes I like those blades also, they work real well. I am trying to find the more basic gold and silver blades they make with the gold/green glitter and silver/ blue glitter etc. They have a different look than a standard 24k gold blade with an epoxy glitter finish, it is almost like a sticker or label that is on them. Any ideas?

Mags
Where would you find those sheets? I have coated some chatterbait blades with 2ton and glitter and haven't had much luck keeping it on. It looks great. The blue shad chatterbait I make is very effective, except the epoxy/glitter coat eventually peels off the blade. I have tried light sanding of the baldes to give it more grip, but that hasn't worked either. Any ideas of what I might use instead of epoxy on chatterbait blades, spinnerbait blades and spoons. I was looking at Dick Nites lure coat. Would this work better than the epoxy? The SOB Company spinnerbaits have an excellent coating. They say there coating is a three day process. I just tried the holographic powder paint and the glitter is hardly noticeable. Not what I'm after and not to mention it is very hard to get a uniform coating on a big spoon. Anyone have any advice on keeping this stuff on.

Anyway here are two sources for your stick on glitter sheets. Hobby Lobby, they have a package of (6) different colors of self stick glitter sheets. The sheets are 6" x 8" it costs about $8 per package. The product name is called Funky Films. The other place where they have self stick gliter rolls, is WTP. www.wtp-inc.com, they have over 50 colors, and it comes 1/8" wide to 6" wide x 100 feet long. Call them up and get their catalog. If you have any more questions, you can PM me.

crankbait321
I've looked through the sticker suppliers that you mentioned but no luck with the "glitter look" only holographic type stuff. I'm really trying for the glitter look like the classic Nichols blades. As an example I will use two ton and flex coat mixed with super fine glitter to achieve the results like Nichols, only problem is it is a real pain to make and it doesn't last long either. That is why I was searching for a place to buy the blades pre-made. It might be possible that Nichols makes the blades themselves. But I have seen several other companies produce similar blades, I think Mini-Me spinnerbaits might have them also. I was really just curious if there was a supplier. Thanks guys for the help!
