HixsonBassMan
What type and size Lead head/Jig Head do you like to use on Beaver and Double Tail skirted Gurbs? I have been wanting to start using these type of baits to bounce off the bottom but the basic lead heads I have do not fit them very well and they get hung up allot. I see a TON of different types on the market but not sure which ones I should try. Thanks..
MDC
I use Do-it RWR-3-AYS round head in 3/16oz and 1/4oz and football heads FBB-4H-AFM in 1/4oz. I use the football heads on a gravel or a bottom with small rocks and the round head for everything else. The design of the line tie on these hooks seems to allow me to get them un-hung out of larger rocks better than a regular jig hook. I use them with and without weed gaurds depeding on how much vegatation is present.
TCCustom
I use my Southern Shaker with a beaver or grub as a trailer. I use the 1/2 once in Black/Blue, Black, or Black.Red. TCCustom
