Traybird
How do you get that glimmer blue effect I see on some cranks. I'm sure it's a transparent paint. Where can I get it or how do I do it?
woodieb8
is it over a chrome base. if so its normally a candy color. try house of colors kandy paints
castmaster
The Createx Auto Air Iridescent Electric Blue has that effect. I've had good results spraying it over a pearl silver base coat. The less coats you put on the more shimmer and transparency it has.
hazmail
???? It's not Blue Pearl over black or another dark color, is it ?- could be a lot of paints- a picture would get you an instant answer here. pete

Hoodaddy
Looks like the irredescent blue that was mentioned by Castmaster. I use the same type paint made by Pactra with the same name. By the looks of the pic it could be white base coat with possibly pearl white, blue glimmer misted over that then back and shoulders sprayed thru netting with preffered color......or if you wanted the irredescent effect over the entire bait just wait to spray the blue last. Also they do make different colors in the irredescent paints.

yellow gambler
wasco sells (taxidermy.com) shimmering blue iridescent. Spray it over grey, and it will look like the back of a lucky craft chart. shad
