dsmblack Posted November 5, 2007 Report Share Posted November 5, 2007 I was looking to repair a broken tip/eye on my rod and was wondering if anyone knew what size I would order. I need one to fix a Bass Pro Shops Extreme rod. It is a 6 1/2 foot rod. The rod tip was not broken , just the ceramic inside the eye came out. markp Posted November 7, 2007 Report Share Posted November 7, 2007 Hello, What I would do is get a pair of needle nose pliars and a lighter. Gently grab your broken tip with the needle nose and give it a little heat with the lighter. Gently pull on it as you give it the heat. It should pop off.
