Jason O
Anyone ever use Cabelas wobble jigs. Was thinking about getting a few to try before I buy the mold and wanted to see if anyone likes them. Was going to get a slider head mold till I saw this mold. Thanks for any info. Ogajiga
Wobble Jigs - More a slow faller and shallow runner than a wobbler. Hooks ride point upright but are smallish and hook eye position traps weeds easily. Line can rub the nose on sizes over 1/8. Tough mold to find. Anyone want to try some just provide me an address. kelly
I have that mold and like it for the gravel banks and some rocks. It is a little harder to snag up in those places. But If you fish it in the weeds or sage brush you will lose a lot of jigs. It wobbles very well. I use a hook size larger the recommended with out lead flashing. Is one of my favorites! Ogajiga
Yes they do wobble but how much depends on what you attach to the head and the speed of your retrieve. I too use one size over hooks with a preference for wider bite Sickles. My favorite application for these in the smaller sizes is as a finesse swim jig over (not through) shallow weed beds. I cast them in lighter pure tin to enable shallower and slower running than heavier lead.
