Mr.J.
I've been using the laquer thinner with plastic cups as my wood sealer with great success. I have had my lures destroyed by toothy fish or bouncing them off rocks etc where the clear coat and paint were chipped off right down to the wood but the wood remained perfectly sealed. Now onto my question. After using the dip I sand them prime my lure. I'm wondering if it would work if I added my primer to the laquer then that way the lure would be both sealed and primered? Anyone think that might work?

Palmetto Balsa
You can add solvent based pure pigments/colorants and it will work great.
