allstate48
Do you have to heat set paint, if you wait awhile in between coats? And how do you do it? Thanks again Doug
baitmaker2
Don't know if this answers your question but if you allow you paint to dry normally between coats you don't need to add heat but if you want to paint quickly what I do is use a regular hair dryer on low and run over bait until paint is dry enough to add another color. I think some of the Createx paint suggest heat but I use only Parma and I don't normally apply heat unless I am in a hurry and when I do I use a low heat setting. BobP
I use a hair dryer. Run it on low, rotating the bait so you won't push paint around or dry it too fast. If your paint coating is thick it will crack if dried too fast. I don't like to wait between paint colors so use a dryer 100% of the time. benton B
I always hit the paint with a hair dryer, set on low air + high heat.
