Mountain Man 26
Just looking for some comments of M-F soft plastic molds. I know they are Aluminum, but can you get a quality pour out of them.
MDC
MF's molds are resin not alum. Some of my favorite worms are from their molds. They pour great. I don't think they'll last forever like alum, but I've yet to wear one out.
Mountain Man 26
Did not proof my post. I meant, I know they are NOT aluminum. Thanks for the reply.
alsworms
I agree with MDC. MF molds make a great lookin' bait. The only sign of wear that I've ever noticed is over time they get difficult to pull the baits out. Nothing that a little worm oil in the molds won't help though. Green_Fingers
The first molds I ever bought were from MF, and they still pour some of my favorite baits! I have had great sucess with the 2.5 inch smimbait mold and their wild willy, both for pike, perch and zander as well as some tasty snook on the smiwbait when was on vacation in Costa Rica! But I must say the same as alsworms they do wear slightly after a while and especialy with the smimbait molds they work better with a light spray of oil before each pour, other wise the baits come out dull and if you can get them out of the mold without breaking them! Cheers, Simon
