Senkosam
According to Lurecrafts catolog, p.5, add 3 oz. per 1 gallon or 1 teaspoon per the 12 oz. capacity of a Lee Pot. Heat stabilizer is in all plastic formulas to keep the plastic from scorching or burning at higher temperatures. It keeps the clear, light and bright colors from fading over a prolonged period of heating. Very little is needed LCIt really does work! kidlizard
Heat stabilizer is a must for us. Especially for transparent colors like Junebug and any other purple mix. I also think it helps with the clean up of the pots. Makes the plastic roll right out of there. 3OZ works for us, but I sometimes add another 1/4 tsp to the purples. the_hide
I have found that to Kid. The more stabilizer I put in, not only is it easier to pour but it peels straight out of the pot Im using, no need for the wire brush to clean up and no wastage.
