Riverrat
The lab won't stay that organized for long. Have fun, let us know how it goes.
bhorlings
Thanks for the tip. I will install ventilation this weekend.
bhorlings
I know it won't stay that way... that's why I took the pictures to remind myself. So far I do not know how long it takes for these things to setup. I am not sure if I got the plastic hot enough either. I nuked it for two minutes, then added salt and color, then one minute and a few times at 30 seconds.
D.J.
The lab won't stay that organized for long. Have fun, let us know how it goes. If it looks anything like mine, you would swear a grenade went off!
BassnG3
TOO NEAT!! Looks good it won't be neat for long and soon you will be churning out some great baits.
pastorshane
If your glitter does not suspend then plastic is to hot, thats how I judge. You will get the hang of it. Ask these guy's your questions, believe me they helped me loads! I always add salt before heating, then heat in two 1 minute intervals then stir well, heat another minute, add color and glitter stir till my arm falls off:huh: , heat 30 seconds add scent stir stir stir and pour. Every micro is differant. You'll get it though.
Spike-A-Pike
Better be careful... Folks like the law enforcement in MO don't like it when organized labs get setup and started cookin! Bruce
bhorlings
Thanks for the encouragement everyone. The tips are beneficial and I have only poured once so far. I cannot wait to pour some more this weekend.
alsworms
Wow.....SOMEONE'S ready to pour!! Great lookin' set-up there. My first.......uhhh....."lab" was a hot plate, pillow, and a chair.
jmik26
Looks great! Two things I would recommend are: 1. Make sure you have ventilation. 2. If its not already, screw that board down to the horses. Last thing you want is a cup of 325 degree plastic going through the air . Good luck and congrats on your new addiction, . bhorlings
Wife gave me the okay on ventilation after she walked downstairs last night. I guess some things you have to see yourself. Thanks for the idea about screwing down the board jmik26.

Delw
Wow looks nice and clean, One suggestion if I can. use a laminated counter top type wood for the top and everything else you sit plastic stuff on. they sell them at home depot in a 4x8 foot sheet with one side white laminate ( I think thats what you call it). its much easier to clean it and keep you stuff all nice and neat.
