nova Posted December 16, 2007 Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 If you are using fresh plastic it doesn't melt; it gets thick at first and then as the temp comes up it turns back to a liquid about the consistency of hot molasses. The optimum temp is 350 but you have to work your way up to it if you are using a micro.
