JDBaits
Hi all sorry for the first question post before introduceing myself, I am a 31 year old bass nut from oldsmar florida. I started pouring brushhogs about 4 months ago after me and my buddy bought dels creature kit. We quickly forgot about it tho and stopped cause we stunk at it, recently a guy from another forum got me back into it and im all fired up to learn so i have a million questions. If any of yas can provide me with a simple brushhog formula and maybe a few pointers to get me pointed in the right direction im certain 1/2 of my questions will be answered... Hopefully after a few months of secessful pours ill be able to contribute something to the forum. Thanks guys!!

Spike-A-Pike
Come on now... Not ALL the answers are stupid, I haven't had a chance to answer ALL of them yet, so at best you could only say only 1.025 percent of the answers are stupid... Maybe I should shut up now... JDBaits
My biggest question is what formula to use? Also what temp or consistancy should i pour the baits at for the best results? Should I pour from my small pyrx or after it comes out of the mircowave mix and pour into a metal 1 cup messuring cup then into the mold? nova
Hope you're joking Bruce, lol. The optimum temp for pouring is 350 degrees F. After you get to know the product and develope you're pouring skills you will learn that sometimes you want the plastic a little cooler or warmer depending on the result you need. Most recipies are set up for 4 oz of plastic. This makes it easier to double or triple the formula. As you develope colors make sure you write down everything you do as you do it. If the color works out then you can put it in your recipie book. www.novalures.com
Spike-A-Pike
Nova, Joking about what???? The Packers DID win, no joke!!! Of course I'm joking - Please, never ever take me to seriously, I don't. I go for the laugh just give the experts a few minutes to provide the "intelligent" answers. LOL If I'm not being funny enough or start get boarder-line strange, please let me know and I'll consider stopping. Bruce
nova
That's ok Bruce. It's rare that I find someone with the same sense of humour. I get into trouble all the time with it, or so my wife says; lol. www.novalures.com
