justinchandler
Trying to get perfection with my pours.....but some of them have bubbles in them. I am pouring in a one part mold that I posted in an earlier thread. My heating element is a propane powered hot plate. I sealed my mold with Elmers Glue All. Any suggestions? BassnG3
Could be a number of things: Don't stir with anything wood, plastic mixed, plastic still agitated after mixing just to name a few. Keep practicing and look thru the archives for other posts about this. You will find with practice comes perfection. Scott
Richard Prager
Humidity can cause bubbles as well.
longhorn
The bubbles come from a hole in the sealer....look closely at the bait and you can see where it comes from in the cavity...touch it up with some more Elmer's and it will be fine. Rarely do I ever get a mold to pour the first time without a few bubbling cavities.
