tubinator
My son bought me an airbrush and some really cool colors of paint and said I need to be painting some of my paddle tail swimbaits, so where should I be pressure-wise on the regulator? How much psi?
whitey
You might want to ask the guys on the crankbait forum. They are very knowledgeable on psi info.
jimmie7915
tubinator, try starting out at 35 to 45 psi and then just tinker with it a little bit.obviosly the thicker the paint the more pressure needed.I dont like to thin my paints very often so for the pearls and opaque im usually 35 to 45 but with the transparent paints that are much thinner you can get by at 10 to 15 sometimes. When I first started I didnt know about this site and how helpful it is so I just sat and fooled with it for a bit until I got a feel for it.Hope this helps!
